This morning many of you have turned on the pc, checked the mail and found the announcement of the launch of the long Native-Instruments Traktor Pro2 system. The new software is proposed as the previous two versions: Traktor and Traktor Duo2 Pro2, both available only with their software or audio interfaces (audio10 and audio6) for use with timecode. The launch date is scheduled for April 1, so it will take a while 'waiting in the meantime here are the features of the new software versions starting with the timecode with the related entries.
TRAKTOR SCRATCH PRO2: the graphical interface has been revamped with a more simple, straightforward and compact. They strike the eye at once the new pattern of colors chosen specifically to highlight and locate all the functions in the dark of the local console. Automaticamente i loop campionati verranno inseriti nella track list in modo da poter essere richiamati to taste. The sound card is very similar to the classic audio8-dj, but with the addition of a channel in a stereo input and output to support new features. TRAKTOR PRO2 & DUO2 : the versions of software are not equipped with sound card and do not support the management of timecode. For those in possession of the old licenses will be proposed course of the update packages.

In conclusion, the Pro2 Traktor seems to be the natural heir of the old version considering the news that had already been introduced in the S4. The most interesting functions can be summarized in the new graphics and more defined, the ability to assign the effects of even external sources and especially the introduction of the Sampler decks that actually make it more powerful than the ability to mix and loop tracks. At this point the controller X1 is perhaps too harsh, we'll see if Native Instruments will offer a new controller-specific. With regard to the stability and the installation and configuration we have to wait until April 1 for a test on the field!
